Business courses!!

Ora bem! Quanto vocês estavam a dormir! Eu hoje estive a trabalhar bastante, ja acabei um relatório e já estou a fazer o segundo resumo de um artigo para a disciplina fantástica de small and medium size entreprise management and business development!

Pois é o nome até parecia engracado, mas acontece que esta cadeira não tem nada de engracado! Basicamente só temos 5 aulas de quatro horas cada uma...nessas aulas temos que entregar umr resumo A4 do respectivo artigo e durante a aula o prof passa as 4horas a discutiro o artigo! Conclusäo tédio mais tédio näo há!
Os assuntos abordados até sao interessantes, mas säo assuntos que no máximo däo para 30min de discussäo! E para se escrever um paragrafo...mas näo eles conseguem escrever carradas de paginas, cheia de palavras caras...tédio tédio tédio! È claro que nós Erasmus, temos uma vida social muito ocupada e näo temos "tempo" para ler o artigo todo entäo limitamo-nos a ler a introducäo e a conclusäo! Deixo-vos ficar com um deles....para lerem quando tiveram com insönias! Se virem que mesmo assim o problema nao fica resolvido, digam que tenho mais 4 iguais!

This paper studies the entrepreneurial networks and new organization growth. Studying and understanding the entrepreneurial networks and more important than that know how they proceed and how this behaviour can affect the new organizations growth.

In the process of founding entrepreneurs bring three different types of capital: their personal financial resources, their personal skills and their social resources. According to the researchers, the new organizations growth depends on entrepreneurs actions, how they are embedded in continuing networks of personal relationships.

The present study tests for pre-founding social structure and process effects on subsequent first-year new organization growth rates. In this study the samples consisted of 44 entrepreneurs who had founded new organizations. The method applied to obtain the necessary data, consisted in 44 structured interviews. This study focuses in three important variables: the entrepreneurial action set size; the entrepreneurial action set degree and the entrepreneurial action set frequency.

After analysing collected data and after all hypotheses were considered it was conclude that in general the data supported the hypotheses that were tested.

The number of people who cooperate or contribute to the organization founding and also the measure of inter-connectivity within the action set are important issues at the entrepreneurial payroll.

The main points that should be taken from this article are that knowing how to identify the correct social resources and how to manage the action sets in which they are embedded is an essential step that must be done the new organization founding. In summary having significant personal resources and appropriated personal skills are keys for the success as an entrepreneur in the process of founding a new organization.
